Win a professional video plus a $5000 prize to help grow your business!
Parry Sound-Muskoka Community Network (PMCN), together with sponsorship from Muskoka Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Georgian College, has launched a contest offered to businesses of Parry Sound, Muskoka and Almaguin areas who are interested in Perfecting their Pitch.
“All it takes is a quick five minute video,” explains Stuart Morley, executive director of PMCN. “We are asking business owners to make a zoom or cell phone video telling us a bit about their business and submit to our PMCN website. https://www.pmcn.ca/ptp Don’t delay, videos are only being accepted until midnight on Friday, May 27, 2022.
After that, the real fun begins. Buy your dinner ticket at pmcn.ca so you can enjoy a meal and vote for the audience winner at the video screening at Canvas Brewery in Huntsville from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on June 17, 2022. Yes, the more family and friends who come for dinner, the more votes!
Two contests take place this first night. Part of your ticket price will go towards the Audience Winner cash prize! Also the same night, finalists will be chosen by judges to have the opportunity to work with the PMCN team to create a second, amazing video on June 20, 2022.
At the second dinner event on Thursday July 7, 2022 at 6 p.m. also at Canvas Brewery… yes … you can buy tickets at PMCN to attend and vote a second time! So the amazing finalists videos will be screened and the audience winner will be selected followed by the announcement of judges selection of the $5000 winner! Will you be placing side bets with friends to see if the same video will win both awards?
“We really want our local businesses to have the opportunity to showcase what they have by Perfecting the Pitch – telling their story in an appealing, attractive and informative way using today’s readily available technology,” explains Morley. “Our area has so many impressive businesses that have an impressive narrative. We want it highlighted for all to see.”
PMCN creates economic value by advocating for improved productivity through technology adoption and growing the digital talent base on a strong broadband foundation to build community partnership.
