Bala Plein Air at the Muskoka Lakes Museum

Plant your easel for plein air in the gardens of the Muskoka Lakes Museum, located in the James Bartleman Island Park in Port Carling. We will meet at 9:00 AM and paint til 12:00 noon. Artists are welcome to tour the museum afterwards – a small admission fee applies. Don’t forget to Subscribe to our group (signup@balapleinair.ca) and we will send you more details a few days ahead of each outing.
GETTING THERE: Port Carling is located on the Indian River between Lake Rosseau and Lake Muskoka. Take Hwy #118 to Port Carling. Google Maps Link Free Parking is available in the town in various lots. Count on a short walk from your vehicle into the park along the paved path to the Museum.
