Gazebo Concert

Wayne Strongman, CM, Mus. Bac., MA, one of Canada’s most distinguished music
directors, brings his talent and vast musical experience to Christ Church and Muskoka.
This summer, Strongman has invited guest artists to help the vibrant Christ Church
congregation achieve its goals: to reach the wider summer community with a
stimulating program of events and services that will enrich the spiritual life of the
community.
The second in the Gazebo Concert series, will feature The Art of Portuguese Fado with
musicians Jessica Lloyd and Louis Simao,
From concert hall to opera stage, from studio sessions to nightclubs, Jessica Lloyd’s
genre-crossing vocal abilities never fail to impress. When she is not on stage, Jessica is
the Head of Music at Havergal College. Louis Simao has been composing, performing
and recording as a multi-instrumentalist in a variety of genres for over twenty years. In
November of 2017, he was named World Solo Artist of the Year by the Canadian Folk
Music Awards, and in April of 2018, was nominated by the Independent Music Awards for
2018 World Beat Artist of the Year.
Christ Church, Windermere on Lake Rosseau, Muskoka, has offered year round services
