Speaking of Wildlife
August 16, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Speaking of Wildlife is a traveling Wildlife Education Centre that provides permanent sanctuary to non-releasable Ontario wildlife; many of their animals have been orphaned, abandoned, injured or illegally kept as pets and cannot be released to the wild.
As such, these animals become ambassadors for their species, teaching audiences throughout the province about the animals that we share our environment with.
This one-hour interactive presentation features 6 of the Speaking of Wildlife’s Ontario wildlife ambassadors such as hawk, raccoon, wolf (2019), turtle, skunk, goose, owl, snake, etc. This presentation includes information about each individual animal, their species, adaptations, and habitat.
