Theatre Muskoka is a registered charity (formerly Bracebridge Arts Council) with a focus on the performing arts, in all its forms. Theatre Muskoka operates and manages the Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre in Bracebridge, ON. The organisation was incorporated in 1998 and was responsible for the construction of the theatre in 2007. We continue to manage its operations and development today. The theatre is a fully equipped 300-seat, proscenium venue suitable for theatre, music, dance, presentations, and education. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of donors, sponsors, and patrons to support the operation of the theatre and the development of the arts in the region. Vision Our vision is a vibrant performing arts community that thrives for the pleasure, enjoyment, and benefit of performers, patrons, and the community at large. Mission Our mission is to create, promote, present, support, and develop the performing arts in Muskoka. Additionally, we operate, maintain, and develop the Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre as a vibrant, professional performance venue in the heart of Muskoka.
