Community Living South Muskoka (CLSM) is an inclusive service provider that was founded in 1960, incorporated in1967, by a group of concerned parents.  CLSM is a not for profit registered charity that provides support to over 500 individuals of all ages with a developmental disability and their families living in the South Muskoka Region (Honey Harbour, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Muskoka Lakes).

CLSM is committed to enabling individuals to meet their personal goals and live and participate actively in the community. Working closely with our families, skilled staff and community partners we have tailored supports and services to meet the individual needs of the people we support as well as taking into consideration the needs of their caregivers.

SERVICES:

CLSM offers a variety of services including Community Participation Supports, Employment Services, Family Home (Host Family), 24 hour Residential Services, Respite, Supported Independent Living, Family Support Workers and Special Needs Resource Consultants.
-These services can include Supported Living in the community, active participating in community events and activities, joining groups and clubs, learning daily life skills such as cooking, grocery shopping, laundry, budgeting, etc.

-Assistance in the school settings and licensed childcare for both children and their families/ support.
-Assistance in training for employment, obtaining employment, working with a job coach in building resume, and supports while at work.
-Providing group home living, CLSM has 10 group homes, with 24 hour supports.
