The Muskoka Ratepayers’ Association (MRA) is a non-profit association whose focus is on good governance in the Township of Muskoka Lakes.  As an association the MRA represents all taxpayers in the Township of Muskoka Lakes, both permanent and seasonal, on water and off water.  The MRA has a representative at all Township and District Council and Committee meetings.  Following the meeting cycle our members receive our “Township Watch” publication which is an unbiased report on what has occurred at the meetings, such as reports on the Township’s budget, senior staff reports and by-laws.  We also circulate newsy “Keeping You Informed”, “Did You Know” and time sensitive “Alert” to our membership.  The MRA also produces a Yearbook early every summer which includes Board reports and interesting articles about Muskoka.
